Hunter X Hunter is one of the best anime for adventure, action, comedy. The character development in the anime is really amazing and most of you will love many of their characters. There are a lot of strong characters in the series and below are some of them.
1. Alluka
Alluka belongs to the family of the assassins. She is neither physically strong nor any powerful attacking nen abilities but the ability that make her stand at the top of the chart is that her power to grant wishes. Alluka has a dual personality, when someone fails to grant three of her wishes, she kills that person.
Silva does not consider her a part of his family because of her supernatural ability and no one knows the exact truth of her ability. She saved Gon from that condition where everybody leaves hope. Illumi states that if Killua made some mistake while using her power, the whole Zoldyck family would be dead.
2. Meruem
Ant king Meruem was stated to be one of the strongest characters in Hunter x Hunter and has shown feats that put him leagues above any other HXH character. He was much faster than Neferpitou. Meruem was stronger than the other Royal guard -Pouf, and Youpi who also have feats that put them at that level. With just his Ren, Meruem was able to push back two of the Guanyin Bodhisattva’s hands.
Now for his durability, Meruem took Attacks from Netero and everything Netero threw at him could barely scratch him. Even The Zero Hands which is Netero’s most powerful attack did nothing but gash him. Netero had to use his trump card (Rose Bomb) to kill Meruem which will eventually kill him as well. Meruem also just barely survived the detonation of the rose bomb, Now Meruem doesn’t have many impressive feats he always does everything casually.
3. Netero
Netero was stated to be the strongest Nen user, but as he said that was in his prime and he’s nowhere near as strong as he was back then. Netero easily pushed Back Pitou, a massively hypersonic and Multi-city block, to the Smalltown level. Netero was physically powerful as he stated during the ball game with Gon and Killua that if Gon headbutts him again in his stomach, his head bones would crack.
During that Chimera ants arc, Morel stated that if Netero could not defeat Neferpitou, there is no one in the Hunter Association to kill her. Netero's one of strongest abilities is 100 type Guanyin Bodhisattva, which he used to fight Meruem.
4.Chrollo
Chrollo Lucifer is the leader of the Phantom Troupe (The head of the spider ) and the Primary Antagonist of the Yorknew City arc, he is also Kurapika’s primary enemy and the one that Hisoka wants to fight the most, he once took on Silva Zoldyck and was able to fight him without having any casualties. Chrollo formed the Troupe in his late teens.
Chrollo was able to fight Zeno and Silva in a 2 on 1 match, even though neither of them was seriously trying to harm each other. Chrollo is one of the most intelligent characters in Hunter X Hunter. Chrollo's special ability is "Copy", he can copy anyone nen abilities when certain conditions are fulfilled. Zeno stated that if he fought him for real alone, he might get killed.
5. Hisoka
Hisoka is one of the craziest characters of the series who always wanted to fight stronger opponents. During the Hunter exam only, Hisoka killed more than 15 applicants but he didn't kill Gon because he saw potential in him and he wanted to fight him when he gets stronger. Hisoka failed in his previous exam because he killed one of the examiners during the exam.
Hisoka also joined the "Phantom Troupe", so that he can fight their leader but Kurapika restrict his nen abilities and because of that Hisoka lost his interest in him as he wanted to fight him at his full power.
Hisoka also killed one of the strongest butlers of the Zoldyck Family, Gotoh. After that Hisoka's nen ability is "'Bungee Gum", Hisoka named this ability on his favorite Chewing Gum which he uses to chew mostly in his childhood.
6. Adult Gon
Gon had achieved that transformation in exchange for his life and Nen to defeat Neferpitou, one of three royal guards of Meruem, Gon basically tapped into the entire potential of his body and aura.
He became so powerful that he was effortlessly able to crush Pitou’s skull and became directly comparable with Meruem. Pitou stated that in this form Gon can defeat Meruem. Gon gets an intense amount of nen that he will get in the future for one-time use. His special move "Ja Janken" power was increased at that level that he can easily destroy a forest in one hit only.
7. Ging
Ging Freecs is the father of our main character Gon Freecs and is a 2 star Hunter and a former member of the Zodiacs, Ging has apparently contributed a lot in history and he is also the chairman of Greed Island. In terms of power Ging is considered an absolute monster, beating up a whole crowd of Hunters just because they annoyed him, Ging is considered one of the top 5 Nen users in his time.
8. Zeno
Zeno Zoldyck is arguably the most interesting member of the Zoldyck family since unlike his family members Zeno has a good relationship with everyone around him from his son Silva to his good old friend Isaac Netero, Zeno is his prime was probably equal or stronger than Silva Zoldyck but currently. He is kind of laid back a little so it’s wise to say currently that Silva is stronger than his father. one of Zeno’s defining traits is his fascination with Isaac Netero, the reason behind Netero’s insane power, and how he managed to survive a fight against his grandfather, Maha Zoldyck.
9. Razor
Very less is known about Razor but we can know about his strength from the volleyball match in "Greed Island".Razor almost broke Tzesguerra back easily with just a ball. He can fire an explosion ball with his nen abilities.
He has that much intense nen that he alone played a match against many pro hunters. From that certain Volleyball match only we can predict his power levels. It could be possible that his powers could surpass Hisoka.
10. Silva
Silva Zoldyck is considered the strongest Assassin in the world. He is the current leader of the Zoldyck family, the only child of Zeno Zoldyck, and the father of Killua, Illumi, Milluki, Kalluto, and Alluka, Silva apparently even fought and stalemated Chrollo Lucifer, The leader of the Phantom Troupe and also killed Troupe member #8.
Silva is more crucial in this story than one may think him to be. During his fight with Chrollo, Chrollo attacked Silva with poison and he stated that 0.1 milligrams of that poison can paralyze a giant whale but Silva easily survived that attack.
